Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born on June 13, 1962, in the US, is an actor. In 1983, following her film debut Bad Boys, Sheedy became part of the Brat pack group with actors. She was in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986), and WarGames. For her performance on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy received the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female lead. Ally Sheedy has been an American author and actress for more than twenty years. She started her career in acting with the crime film Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie, which also featured famous actors Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. In the following film after her debut was released in 1985, she starred in the comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. The film by John Hughes called The Breakfast Club is considered as being among the high school cinema's best films. Though the budget was only $1 million its earnings crossed $50 million. She also began appearing on various television programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her debut on television. It was a show for teenagers that started airing beginning in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues were some other shows on television that the actress appeared on. Recent appearances of Sheedy includes Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie that tells the story of a hero, in which Sheedy appears as a guest. Sheedy has received numerous awards for her outstanding performances, among them her MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
